A website can now help you get a “fee waiver” for your petition on the Supreme Court, which has been set up by the government.
The government is now trying to get the court to waive a large number of court fees, which can amount to up to Rs 2 crore (US$16,000).
The government had also proposed to waive up to 10% of the fee for the petition filed by a person who has a disability.
A petition that cannot be settled by the courts would have to be brought to the Supreme Judicial Council for settlement.
The petitioners said that it was very unfair that people with disabilities are unable to use a computer, and they have not been able to access the internet for years.
The website called the “Online Petition Fee Waiver Centre” said that the court will be asked to decide whether to waive the fees on a case-by-case basis, depending on the number of petitioners and the complexity of the petition.
The petitioners are asking for a fee of at least Rs 2,000 per petition.
